Abstract
This project explores the design and implementation of an ultrasonic radar system using Arduino to detect and map objects within a specified range. The system employs an ultrasonic sensor (HC- SR04) to measure distance by emitting sound waves and capturing their reflections. A servo motor rotates the sensor to scan the environment, providing angular data. The Arduino microcontroller processes the data and transmits it to a computer for visualization using custom software or the Processing IDE. The radar can identify obstacles in real time, making it suitable for applications like security systems, object detection, and robotics. Its low cost, ease of implementation, and scalability make it a versatile tool for educational and practical purposes. Key Words: ultrasonic radar, Arduino, HC-SR04, distance measurement, servo motor, object detection, real-time scanning, visualization, low cost, robotics.
