Abstract
HRI requires both advanced technology to generate intelligent and collaborative robots, and to understand how people perceive and behave with robots. When formulating research questions, researchers should consider interdisciplinary methods and approaches. This chapter discusses the benefits and challenges of creating and using interdisciplinary approaches to HRI.
