Abstract

From the water drawer to the robot. The progressive build up of the services offered by the town of Nancy (service des eaux de la ville) and the formation of an intermunicipal service has led to the creation of one of the most sophisticated and modern network of services in France. Both the time element and the technical difficulties at issue forced the local authorities of districts with widely differing traditions to a closer co-operation.
