Current Status and Prospect of Research on Bio-robots

Abstract

Modulate on animal's locomotion is one of the hot topics in neurological,informatics and robotics research.Biological robotics,which is to modulate animal's locomotion and makes it like a robot,has become a new attractive direction in robotics researches.Based on our work in artificial modulation of gecko' locomotion,the paper will introduce the progress in animal movement control research.
