Research of Affective Model Applied in Robot

Abstract

This paper introduces a new affective modeling method ——Affective modeling based on grey system theory. Firstly, the primary factors that attribute to the generation of robot’s emotion are extracted, then the MAS structure of affective robot system is given, finally affective model is experimented on the robot platform. The result proves that affective model based on GM(1,N) can imitate some simple emotion of human being. Because affective robot is a kind of personal robot, affective modeling embodies individuation.
