Abstract

This paper tries to reconnect current debates on legal issues of agent mediated contract formation with the historical roots of agent technology in robotics. More specifically, it will explore the leverage that can be gained from the attempts to develop agents technology suitable for team sports for the question of how autonomous agents can conform to “good faith” or “fair dealing” requirements.
