Abstract
Using cable tunnel patrol robot instead of manual inspection has the characteristics of high patrol efficiency and strong operation safety. China has developed a number of tunnel patrol robot, research and design for their comprehensive evaluation system is of great significance to the development of robot. In order to test the functions of those robots, such as autonomous patrol, cable defect identification and fire fighting, a functional test environment for cable tunnel patrol robot was designed, including autonomous patrol environment and robot defect detection functional test environment. In the simulation testing environment, the robot's basic performance, defect recognition function and independent patrol function are tested. Through the analysis and statistics of the measured indicators of the cable tunnel robot in the simulation environment, the comprehensive performance evaluation of the patrol robot is realized, and the optimization and improvement of the patrol robot is promoted.
