Digital Education and Society 5.0

Abstract

Today's world is dominated by artificial intelligence, robotics, big data, and machine learning, and educating people for future “digital education” is considered crucial. The incorporation of technology in education has created a new form of space that enables remote synchronous, real-time interaction between individuals, territories, and organizations in a variety of educational, cultural, economic, and political fields. The chapter examines Society 5.0 (where people can address different social problems by integrating innovations) and its implementation in today's education policy and the national curriculum and addresses how learners and teachers can benefit from it. The chapter concludes by considering a few ways in which we might begin to think about the future impact of technology on classroom teaching and learning practices.
