Abstract

Dogs are human's friends. In order to save more lives after a disaster, this paper gives a frame work for holographic in disaster search and rescue (SR) system, summarizes the development, application and characteristics of the conventional SR robot, put forward a kind of integration scheme of biological SR robot system along with animal (working dogs) and modern technology to achieve a tri-level (trainer, field command vehicle and superior command center) real-time and an air-ground network SR system with one or more dogs working as a guide. It will use the dog's physiological perception, flexibility and intelligence of the working dogs, providing the dogs with sensor module, wireless communication module, detachable micro-robot module, other auxiliary devices which are command on demand with the dogs' trainer.
