Abstract
Aimed atthe high -speed, high -precision performance of the manipulator for pick -and -place opera- tion, the key technology for development of the vision software of the system is described. Firstly, the make up of the system is presented. Based on the properties and the controlling development of the ma- nipulator, NI PCI -1428 image framegrabber and LabVIEW were selected as the development environ- ment. Later, the course of the program was specified. Finally, the vision software was applied to the 3 -DoF parallel manipulator for pick -and -place operation, and the experimental results proved the high -speed and high -precision performance of the robot, and validated the efficiency and correctness of this software.
