Abstract
The research of robot assisted minimally invasive surgery(MIS) has played an increasingly important role in the recent years. The state of art of the robot assisted MIS is expatiated. After analyzing the MIS process, the design of the MIS robot is proposed. Synchronously system security and malfunction diagnosis of the robot, master-slave telecontrol, visual reality and image navigation are thoroughly studied.
