Abstract
Camera calibration is one of the most important components in computer vision,and it aims to determine the camera model by one or more images taken by the camera and then it can obtain the the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters by optimizing the model.It's used widely in robot navigation,monitoring system and so on.In this paper,we first gave a survey on the camera calibration,and classified it to three classes according to wether the specific object is necessary or not,traditional calibration method,self-calibration and object-based calibration.Then,we provide the model of the three methods separately,evaluate the advantages and the disadvantages,and at last we point out the research orientation in the future.
