Abstract

The purpose of study on robotic fish is raising underwater propeller function,realizing high speed,efficient,maneuvering and quiet fish-like characteristics.This paper reviews the design of robotic fish from fish's physiology and locomotion mechanism,and analyses the drive,the structure design,stability and waterproof problems that must be solved by a robotic fish.Finally,inquires into the research topic of this realm that involves velocity efficiency,maneuvering,decision-making system,orientation navigation,information fusion for many sensors and many robotic fishes.
