Abstract
Deals with the tracing of surfaces using a six-freedom manipulator. The problems of surface tracing and surface modelling are briefly reviewed, The modelling of simple quadric surfaces is presented together with several alternative tracings of a hemisphere. The physical realisation of the tracings on a Cincinnati Milacron T3-726 manipulator is discussed.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
