Abstract
As more and more robots enter our life and society, a new era of information technology has begun. The tutorial discusses how to design an efficient circuit and system for Robotics. This brief presents the kinematics, motion planning, perception algorithms and accelerators in robotics and analyzes their advantages, disadvantages, and bottlenecks. In view of the shortcomings of the existing computing system for robotics, we present the potential technique to achieve much higher performance and energy-efficient hardware.
