Abstract
The paper presents the concept of computer vision and image processing applications. To locate and replace the battery under the electric vehicle from the reference symbol position using the AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) robot, instead of using sensors and adjusting the electric vehicle's wheelbase to minimize the number of sensors. Due to the nature of this system, there are no restrictions on the wheelbase size of the battery switching stations. Consequently, it can apply to all kinds of electric vehicle sizes. The experiment's results indicated that the system had tolerances varying between 0.0989 to 0.2111 mm at a 95% Confidence Level.
