Abstract
This study aims to develop a drilling robot designed to overcome the complexities of underground environments. The robot's structure includes a specially designed drill, a bio-inspired three-segment steering mechanism, and a track system with propulsion capabilities. The experimental environment uses a mixture of fine sand and water to simulate stable soil properties. Actual operational data have been used to estimate the range of torque required for drilling.
