Design and Implementation of Medical Service Robot

Abstract
This paper mainly designs a mobile medical service robot. The system is divided into two parts: the upper computer and the lower computer. The upper computer uses the Raspberry PI 4B platform to recognize two-dimensional code or bar code information through OpenCV image algorithm, and collects basic information of patients, such as blood oxygen, heart rate, body surface temperature and so on. The lower machine uses STM32 microcontroller as the main controller to control the basic functions of the robot. The medical service robot can make a tour of each ward according to the prescribed lines. In order to adapt to the changing working environment, the robot has automatic lighting in dim environment, Hall code plate speed measurement, ultrasonic obstacle avoidance and other functions. The OLED screen displays real-time environmental data information. In order to meet various environmental requirements, the upper computer of the medical service robot sends commands to the lower computer through serial port, realizing two modes of automatic identification and manual control of the robot. This design has low energy consumption and is suitable for repetitive work in hospital wards and basic information detection of isolated population.
