Abstract
This paper presents the development of an autonomous mobile robot designed for surveillance and security applications. The proposed robot integrates advanced sensors, real-time data processing, and autonomous navigation capabilities to perform patrol and monitoring tasks in predefined areas without human intervention. Key features include obstacle avoidance, intelligent path planning, real-time video surveillance, and object detection using computer vision techniques. The robot is equipped with a multi-sensor system comprising motion sensors, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors to ensure accurate environmental perception and adaptability to dynamic environments. Performance tests demonstrate its ability to perform continuous surveillance, detect anomalies, and alert security personnel via wireless communication. The system’s modular design allows for scalability and customization for different security scenarios, enhancing its potential use in industrial, commercial, and public spaces. This development represents a significant step toward increasing efficiency and reliability in autonomous security solutions.
