Abstract
Industrial 5.0 (I5.0) is a shift from Industry 4.0 to a more efficient and sustainable production environment. It combines advanced technologies with human ingenuity, addressing sustainability issues faced by traditional manufacturing methods. Key tools and technologies supporting I5.0 implementation include data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of things (IoT), and collaborative robots. The chapter provides an overview of implementation techniques and case studies, offering insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers on how I5.0 can advance sustainability in the manufacturing sector. It also highlights the advantages and challenges of this process for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers.
