Abstract
Abstract One of the greatest challenges in the field of child care is the recruitment of appropriately qualified personnel. In this article, Peters and Getz discuss special considerations that need to be taken in selection of child care workers. They show that the developmental approach is applicable to adults as well as children in their proposal for a “human development” model of recruitment and selection.
