Abstract
In the past few years mobile Adhoc network(MANET) has been widely applied in a range of fields like road safety, sensors for the environment, home, health, disaster rescue operations, defense, weapons, robots, IOT applications etc. In this era of internet of things more and more mobile devices are needed to be interconnected via internet. Security for these networks is a big concern as MANET has no centralized infrastructure and totally dynamic in nature. So, to maintain the network security, we are proposing an algorithm which will help to ensure secure communications by a two phase security check. In the first phase the trust value of the nodes will be calculated and the secure nodes will be the input for the second phase. In the second phase with the help of cuckoo search algorithm, the routing will be done. The cuckoo search algorithm helps to select optimized route based on the QoS factors, which guarantees reliability and longer network lifetime. In this paper, we are proposing an optimization scheme for secure routing in MANET based on cuckoo search algorithm in which the fitness will be the security of the nodes.
