Abstract

Traditional ways to find and fight fires produce a great risk to firefighters because there are many unknown situations of fire. The technical research plan to design a firefighting robot to help firefighters discover risks in advance and reduce the hazards in dangerous environment. The fire-fighting robot is a type of quadcopter. Using fire-fighting drones is more efficient and decreases the risks to human life. The research would focus on introduce the vital components of firefighting drone, such as motors and propellers, and the principle of magnetic field. Motors decided whether fire-fighting drone may achieve fly and motors are located on the rotors to help rotors spin. There are four rotors in propellers and these rotors are located on the four shaft arms of drone equally. Four propeller rotors control the drone to fly up and down and change directions. A magnetic field exists in electric motor of drones, it exists by the movement of impurities or the changes in the electric field. Electric currents and magnetic fields have a close relationship. An electric current generates a magnetic field under most conditions. The different quality of motors has different influence on the drones, and it is important to protect motors of quadcopters.
