Abstract
The aim of this research is to present the guideline for building a mobile robot that can detect and catch the target object by using the CCD camera with an embedded system. The image processing techniques used were Histogram, Image Spatial Resolution and Connectivity (Neighboring Pixels). These techniques are simply practical to be used with the embedded system for detecting the target object. Moreover, they can be applied to the embedded system mobile robots to perform small task with high flexibility, low cost, ease of construction and energy saving.
