Abstract
Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) servo drive system is extensively adopted in advanced manufacturing and robots for high power density, small size, low weight and wide speed range. However, the traditional space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy makes voltage's and current's spectrums contain abundant high-frequency harmonics, seriously hindering the long-term development of PMSM servo drive system. Based on this, a novel SVPWM strategy is introduced in this paper to reduce high frequency harmonic amplitudes, suppressing electromagnetic noise and interference successfully. Under different motor working conditions, performance of this new SVPWM strategy is analyzed and verified through simulation as well, which contributes to its practical application in PMSM servo drive systems.
