Abstract
Because traditional approaches for solving the simultaneous localization and map building (SLAM) problem have the limitation of computational complexity, imprecision of filter algorithm and fragile data association, soft computing technique has been used to solve the problem. In this paper, we reviewed the state of the art of the application of evolutionary algorithm, fuzzy logic and neural networks in SLAM.
