Abstract
At present, the distribution live work is mainly realized by the aerial lift device with an insulated boom, it is difficult to carry out in part of the complex environment, such as a mountain, paddy field. To overcome such shortcomings, a live-work climbing robot platform is designed. In the investigation, first, the overall design idea of the robot platform is presented. Then, the design principles and implementations of the hardware and the software of the platform are introduced. Finally, a live-work climbing robot, are built for the proposed platform, the manipulator is both an operating arm and a crawling body. Experimental results show that the proposed robot design method is feasible with some live work items.
