Abstract
Robotic surveillance system integrating metal detection and gas sensing technologies to enhance land mine and explosive detection in military operations. The mobile robotic platform autonomously navigates and maps terrain using a feature like high-sensitivity metal detector to identify buried metallic components and a gas sensor to detect explosive vapors and taser. This detection mechanism significantly improves accuracy and reduces false positives, ensuring the safety of personnel. Real-time data transmission to a remote command center enables rapid analysis and decision-making. Extensive field tests validate the system's effectiveness in diverse conditions, highlighting its potential for military and humanitarian demining applications. By combining these technologies, the system offers a robust, efficient solution for land mine detection, enhancing operational safety and efficiency in military surveillance and demining efforts.
