Abstract
An emotion is the element that provides the various expression methods and continuous interest to a user. This paper focuses on an emotion engine for emotional interaction between a human and a robot. The emotion engine includes emotion feature generation and internal status module. We apply emotion engine to an emotional experimental robot platform. The proposed emotion engine can be used in the development of emotional robot or cyber characters.
