Abstract

This paper presents results of a first study for a human-robot-interaction in which the robot Flobi autonomously plays the game 'pairs' against a human player. Integrated is a dialog system which can use different dynamic sentence structures for altering the verbal output during the interaction. The system is compared with a dialog system using static sentences with high information detail and a system using static short sentences. The results suggest that using a dynamic system results in a more satisfying gameplay.
