Abstract

This paper presents, at first, the outputs of the EXOSTATION ESA project, aiming at building a haptic demonstrator for future space robotic platform teleoperation. Then, based on the conclusions of a concurrent design session, in the frame of the ESA Technology Transfer Programme, we will discuss about the possible improvements of the system, and more particularly the arm exoskeleton. Also, several potential terrestrial applications highlighted during this study will be presented and analyzed.
