Abstract

These plenary lectures discuss the following: problems in neurosurgery - a rich environment for engineer; building a brain machine interface: the neuroprosthetics grand challenge; micro and nano robotics system for single cell analysis; contact robotics: physical interaction in assistive and therapeutic technologies; neural adaptations to a brain machine interface; and heterogeneous networked robotic teams: bioinspired approaches.
