Abstract
Industry 4.0 technologies are changing the future of many industries. Industries make digital transformation their primary goal to compete and stay in the global market. For this purpose, the effects of digital transformation are slowly spreading in many sectors. To maintain their competitive position, businesses must integrate with the leading digital processes in their sector. Digital technologies offered by Industry 4.0 make business life easier in many areas such as manufacturing, health, education, and logistics, as well as aviation. Technological developments such as Industry 4.0 are of vital importance for the sector, especially since the aviation and space industry need to keep up to date. Today, aviation companies use Industry 4.0 technologies for real-time data collection and monitoring of end-to-end production processes, and to continuously optimize production processes with live data. In this study, the usage areas of Industry 4.0 technologies in the aviation sector were evaluated. The results of this study are intended to provide an overview of the use of Industry 4.0 technologies both in the sector and in the academic field, and to form the basis for future studies.
