The Final Proceedings for 1st International Workshop on Managing Interactions in Smart Environments (MANSE 99), 13 December 1999 - 14 December 1999. This is an interdisciplinary conference. The conference will address the convergence of research in Distributed Systems, Robotics and Human Centered Computing within the domain of smart buildings and present a unique opportunity to investigate work that crosses the boundaries of these disciplines.
