Abstract
This paper concerns the issue of indoor navigation of mobile robots. Instead of computer vision, the use of RFID is explored in localization for Circular Navigation Guidance(CNG) law, which aims at fulfilling the navigation tasks of target tracking with the specified approaching configurations. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. In comparison to the computer vision based navigation paradigm, our proposed approach has considerable advantages in sensing efficiency and robustness to illumination and environment changes.
