Overview

The AgileX Ranger Mini is a compact omnidirectional research rover with four-wheel independent steering, enabling zero-radius spin and sideways crab motion. Built for university robotics labs and applied autonomy projects, it carries up to 100 kg, runs 7–8 hours on a 48V LiFePO₄ battery, and supports ROS1/ROS2/Python via open-source SDK and CAN bus. IP54-rated chassis handles light indoor/outdoor terrain.

Key features

  • Four-wheel independent steering and drive; omnidirectional motion (spin in place, crab sideways, diagonal movement)
  • Up to 7-8 hours runtime, 35 km range, 48V LiFePO₄ battery with ~1.5 hr recharge
  • 100 kg payload capacity with aluminum T-slot rails for LiDAR, cameras, arms, and compute
  • Open-source SDK supporting ROS1, ROS2, and Python over CAN bus
  • IP54-rated chassis, four-wheel independent suspension; light outdoor terrain and up to 15° gradients
  • Compact omnidirectional UGV designed for robotics research, labs, and autonomy projects
  • RobotLAB integration, setup, ROS validation, and nationwide service included
