Sophia is a Hanson Robotics social humanoid designed for human-robot interaction with expressive facial animations and conversational AI. It is used for education, research, entertainment, and public engagement. The Sophia 2020 configuration stands ~167 cm tall with 74 degrees of freedom, semi-autonomous operation, and onboard cameras for perception.
