Overview

Pepper is a 1.2 m humanoid social robot for greeting, guidance, and customer interaction in public venues. It uses speech interaction and computer vision to engage visitors, answer questions, provide recommendations, and guide people. Typical deployments include retail, hospitality, healthcare reception/wayfinding, and education demos. Pepper has 20 DOF, is ~120 cm tall, and weighs ~28 kg.
