One example of this trend is the use of smart waiters, also known as waiter bots or automated waiters, equipped with advanced hardware and software tools, including sensors, wheel encoders, wireless systems, and various path-planning algorithms. These mobile robots can serve food and drinks in various settings, such as restaurants, hotels, businesses, or even homes, and interact with customers to take orders, simplifying the dining experience for both staff and patrons. Ongoing research is continuously evaluating and improving the current advancements in technology used to build smart waiters, making them an exciting and promising development in the food service industry.
