摘要

Advances in robotics and automation are adapting to all areas. To overcome the challenges posed by population growth, agriculture is no different, urbanization and labor shortages are rising. In developing countries, the agricultural sector is pointing the finger at rural areas. In recent times the dominance of unknown diseases, pests, and weeds has led to a significant decline in crop production. This project focuses on the precision agriculture application of agricultural robots for different processes such as initial soil preparation, planting, and growth treatment. Humans have less accuracy compared to a dedicated machine. In addition, exposure to certain pesticides and herbicides can cause side effects. The findings of this project-based study suggest that investing in agro boats can help achieve short- and long-term goals such as planting, treating, and monitoring more efficiently than manually. But, in developing countries, a non-scientific methodology or primitive farming techniques are prevailing, and thus there is no chance for lane farming or terrain making. Thus, an urgent need to consider this issue is necessary. Instead of changing the farm structure, an adaptive robot will tackle this issue. This work develops a systematic design of a modular autonomous robot that could be deployed in any agricultural field and used for precision farming.
