摘要
Stimulated by the worldwide construction of distributed photovoltaic (PV) power stations, the importance of safety control including fire detection and electrical shut-down for protection of personnel has been seriously considered by this community. In this paper, we propose a novel design strategy of safety control system for fire emergency detection and protection of PV stations. It can reduce the accumulation of DC voltage based on a three-level control system including high temperature detection and electrical short-circuit switch with active and passive operation modes. The system has a simple and reliable structure, and does not require a large control network rearrangement. In the future, it can be further upgraded by developing according algorithms for 24-hour automatic protection, as well as combination with fire-fighting robots to reduce personnel injuries, therefore it gives rise to an effective platform to tackle the future safety control of PV power station.
