In this paper, we will explore the magic of giving the power of thinking to man--made machines, i.e. Artificial Intelligence which is involved in many fields of electronics and computers. In 1956, John McCarthy who coined the term of Artificial Intelligence defines it as "The science and engineering of making intelligent machines". In order to classify machine as "intelligent", it is necessary to define intelligence. Intelligence can consist of solving complex problems, making generalizations and relationships. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a combination of computer science, physiology, and philosophy. It has come a long way from its early roots, driven by dedicated researchers and the beginnings of Artificial Intelligence reach back before electronics, to philosophers and mathematicians such as Boole and others theorizing on principles that were used as the foundation of Artificial Intelligence Logic. Also, we will be learning about the various approaches like Neural Networks, Parallel Computations, and Top- down approaches, Expert Systems, Robotics and many more. After all Artificial Intelligence has always been on the pioneering end of computer science.
