Uwe Wolter is an observational astrophysicist whose work centers on binary star systems and robotic spectroscopy. He is best known for his pivotal role in developing TIGRE (Telescopio Internacional de Guanajuato Robótico Espectroscópico), a fully robotic 1.2-meter telescope in central Mexico that has transformed access to high-resolution spectroscopy.
