Summit Kundaria is a leading anatomist and surgeon whose work has fundamentally reshaped our understanding of the parapharyngeal space (PPS) for transoral surgery. His research focuses on the intricate vascular and neural anatomy encountered during minimally invasive approaches to the head and neck. Kundaria’s landmark studies, including a highly cited 2014 paper (26 citations), systematically describe arterial variants in the PPS, demonstrating critical differences between the transoral and traditional transcervical perspectives.
