About
Ryan Reeves is a pioneering interventional cardiologist whose research has helped define the frontier of robotic-assisted percutaneous cardiovascular intervention. His work centers on demonstrating the safety, feasibility, and long-term efficacy of robotic systems — particularly the CorPath platform — for coronary and peripheral vascular procedures. Reeves played a critical role in advancing robotic PCI beyond simple lesions, producing landmark studies showing its applicability in complex coronary disease and earning over 155 citations for his foundational 2017 feasibility report alone. He was among the first to evaluate the second-generation CorPath GRX system in humans and reported the first-ever robotic percutaneous vascular intervention for below-the-knee peripheral arterial disease, a milestone that expanded the technology's clinical scope. His longitudinal outcome studies, tracking patients at 6 and 12 months, provided the field with much-needed durability data.
