Rachid Abida is an atmospheric scientist whose research focuses on the characterization and variability of atmospheric aerosols, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. His most significant contributions center on understanding aerosol composition, optical properties, and long-term trends over the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a region heavily influenced by dust, pollution, and marine aerosols.
