Po-Hsiung Lin is a leading researcher in atmospheric remote sensing and air quality, with a particular focus on satellite-based estimation of fine particulate matter. His most influential work centers on developing high-resolution methods to map ground-level PM₂.₅ concentrations, a critical step for understanding and mitigating air pollution in densely populated regions.
