About
Dr. Koji Mita is a urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing robotic-assisted surgery for kidney and prostate cancers. His most impactful contribution is a pioneering study on personalized three-dimensional (3D) printed models, which demonstrated that using patient-specific kidney models significantly improves preoperative education and satisfaction for patients and families undergoing robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN)—a finding that has earned 40 citations.
