About

Gautam Srivastava is a leading researcher at the intersection of cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), and intelligent robotics. His work is defined by a focus on making autonomous systems both secure and socially aware. He has made major contributions to threat detection in critical infrastructure, notably developing methods for accurate threat hunting in Industrial IoT (IIoT) edge devices—a paper that has garnered 79 citations. Srivastava also advances the safe integration of robotics into human environments, from deep learning models for medical robots (47 citations) to game-theoretic strategies for multi-robot coordination. His notable achievements include pioneering work on green IoT applications for medical massage robots and hybridization of cognitive computing for food services. More recently, he has explored human-robot interaction with his work on EmoiPlanner, which enables socially acceptable navigation by understanding human emotion and intention. With a portfolio spanning botnet attack detection in automated guided vehicles to dark image enhancement for improved object detection, Srivastava’s research consistently pushes the boundaries of how intelligent systems can operate securely and harmoniously alongside humans.
