About

Endri Kastrati is a rising leader in orthopaedic biomechanics and additive manufacturing for patient-specific implants. His research focuses on the design, mechanical fixation, and robotic-assisted implantation of custom lattice-based orthopaedic devices, particularly for challenging bone tumour resections. Kastrati’s major contributions include pioneering the first *in vivo* evaluation of robot-assisted implantation of additively manufactured patient-specific implants in a large animal model, demonstrating the feasibility of precise, minimally invasive surgical workflows.
